2. Cut Loose Rectanglez

Working from the Rectanglez chapter, we’ll have you stitching two-patchez, three-patchez, four patchez, six-patchez, nine-patchez, cross-patchez units and more!
I’ll teach you how to resize the units, then introduce you to different ways to add variety to them, crossing over into other chapters when applicable.

Working from the Trianglez chapter, we’ll have you stitching cover corner trianglez, melon-patchez, single flying goosez, double flying goosez, multiple flying goosez, cover corner rectangles units and more!
I’ll teach you how to resize the units, then introduce you to different ways to add variety to them, crossing over into other chapters when applicable.

Working from the Logz chapter, we’ll have you stitching log cabinz, odd-shaped log cabinz, squarez-in-squarez, double squarez-in-squarez, triple squarez-in-squarez and more!
I’ll teach you how to resize the units, then introduce you to different ways to add variety to them, crossing over into other chapters when applicable.

6. Cut Looser

Here we take the techniques of my book “Cut Loose Quilts” but then turn these blocks into mere interpretations of the traditional units they are based on. Reminiscent of primitive afro-american quilts, this class works with no maths and lots of freedom.
The challenge of joining the odd shaped blocks will be looked at the end of the session but basically it will be a manic day of learning, cutting and stitching up a Cut Looser storm.

Choose a theme for the day - either Rectangles, Trianglez, Logz or Curvez and we will work with those shapes/techniques/chapters as our starting point.
We will crossover basic techniques to extend our options in design.
