Deb’s Ten Minutes for Tea Quilt Instructions

QUILT SIZE: 17 1/2” x 55” (44cm x 140cm)

BLOCKS
Make these blocks but leave them untrimmed;
Twelve 6” Cuppaz (without saucerz and tops).
Thirteen 6” Saucerz.
One 8” Teapotz.
One 8” Hugz.
One 6” Hugz.
One 4” Hugz.
Arrange these blocks in four sections on your design wall using the following plan.
Section 1 is the bottom row, blocks are listed left to right.
Trimming size and row height is approximate unfinished size until the final trim. Try to keep the blocks working within this final size.
Each section is joined with an overlap cut, (see the Samplerz #2 leaflet), which will be determined by your design.
Fillers are background fabrics of your choice.

SECTION 1
Stitch together the 8” and 6” Hugz with an overlap cut to form a section approximately 14 1/2” x 8 1/2”. They may need fillers or trimming.

SECTION 2 (Left Column)
Stack seven saucerz and seven cuppaz into a column. Add bottom and side fillers where necessary, to make approximate size of 8” x 35”.
SECTION 3 (Right Column)

Using an overlap cut join these two sections.
