Deb’s Country Housez Quilt Instructions

QUILT SIZE: 17 1/2” x 55” (45cm x 140cm)

BLOCKS
Make;
One 5” Slender Starz block.
Three 4” groups of Treez - made from 6 units with 3 slices per unit.
One 8” Housez block.
One each of a picketz and a railz unit, then stitched together as a fence.
Four 6” Daisiez blocks.
One 6” Butterfliez block.

Arrange these in position on your design wall then stitch together, as per the Samplerz leaflet, using green and aqua fabrics as gap fillers.

INNER BORDER
Cut and piece 1” strips to fit around the quilt body. Stitch on.

OUTER BORDER
Cut and piece 2 1/2” strips to fit around the inner border.
Deb matched the aqua and green fabrics to continue the line of the hill.

FINISHING/QUILTING
Sandwich.
Machine quilt around the inner border and the images in the ditch.
Free machine quilt stars, grass, and daisies in the backgrounds.
Bind and label.
