QUILT SIZE: 17 1/2” x 55” (44cm x 140 cm)

BLOCKS
Make these blocks but leave them untrimmed:
Three 6” Daisiez.
Two 4” Ladybirdz - one on point, one straight.
Two 6” Ladybirdz - one on point, one straight.
One 10” Hivez.
Two 4” Beez.
One 6” Beez.
One 4” Butterfliez.
One 6” Butterfliez.
Six 6” straight Leavez.
Arrange these blocks in five rows on your design wall using the following plan.
Row 1 is the bottom row, blocks are listed left to right. Trimming size and row height is unfinished size.

ROW 1
Row height is 6 1/2”.
a. 6” straight Leavez, trimmed to 6 1/4” x 6 1/2”.
b. 6” straight Leavez, trimmed to 5 3/4” x 6 1/2”.
c. 6” straight Leavez, trimmed to 6 1/4” x 6 1/2”.
Stitch a sashing strip, 17 1/2” x 1 1/2”, to the top of this row.

ROW 2
Row height is 10 1/2”.
a. Two 4” Ladybirdz joined and built up crazy style to 6 1/4” x 10 1/2”.
b. 6” on point Ladybirdz built up crazy style to 5 3/4” x 10 1/2”.
c. 6” straight Ladybirdz built up crazy style to 6 1/4” x 10 1/2”.
Stitch a sashing strip, 17 1/2” x 1 1/2”, to the top of this row.

ROW 3
Row height is 23”.
This row is divided into two sections.
The left section contains a 4” Butterfliez and a 6” Beez over a 10” Hivez. Build up and join these blocks using overlap cuts to make a section 11” x 23”.
The right section contains a 4” Beez and a 6” Beez over a 6” Butterfliez.
Build up and join these blocks using overlap cuts to make a section of 8” x 23”.
Using an overlap cut join the two sections. Trim the body to 17 1/2” x 23”.
Stitch a sashing strip 17 1/2” x 1 1/2” to the top of this row.

ROW 4
Row height is 7 1/2”.
a. 6” Daisiez built up crazy style 6 1/4” x 7 1/2”.
b. 6” Daisiez built up crazy style 5 3/4” x 7 1/2”.
c. 6” Daisiez built up crazy style 6 1/4” x 7 1/2”.

ROW 5
Row height is 6 1/2”.
a. 6” straight Leavez, trimmed to 6 1/4” x 6 1/2”.
b. 6” straight Leavez, trimmed to 5 3/4” x 6 1/2”.
c. 6” straight Leavez, trimmed to 6 1/4” x 6 1/2”.
Stitch the rows together.

FINISHING/QUILTING
Sandwich.
Quilt around the sashing and images in the ditch.
Free machine quilt curls and daisies in the backgrounds.
Bind and label.
