Shopping Bag Recipez

Shopping Bag Recipez Display and Merchandising

DISPLAY AREA
* Have a specific area to display for full impact. It may be the shop window, it may be at store entry as a welcome display, a well lit back corner to pull customers all the way to the back of the store or it could be near the counter to encourage spenders to be more inspired. Make sure it is well lit!

*offer colour co-ordinated starter packs of fabrics for each pattern instead of or as well as specific kits. Offer them either in the pattern colours or your sample colours.

DISPLAY IDEAS
*Make up a set of one style, for example Bakery, and make multiples of this bag using either different fabric styles or different blocks.

*Shopping Bags can be filled with grocery goodies and placed on a table suitably propped with foodstuffs.

*A crate of oranges piled around supermarket or a few naturally dried loaves would be lovely.

*Display each bag with other projects or quilts made from its block. Daisiez quilts, Cushions, Napkins and Shopping Bags and a vase of daisies will tell a beautifully complete story.

*Pile up all the shopping baskets you can find. Wicker ones are best. Sprinkle your fabric versions amongst them.

*Borrow a few supermarket trolleys to display how well Supermarket fits in these familiar surroundings.
