Napkin Recipez

Napkin Recipez Display and Merchandising

DISPLAY AREA
Have a specific area to display for full impact. It may be the shop window, it may be at store entry as a welcome display, a well lit back corner to pull customers all the way to the back of the store or it could be near the counter to encourage spenders to be more inspired. Make sure it is well lit!

*offer colour co-ordinated starter packs of fabrics for each pattern instead of or as well as specific kits. Offer them either in the pattern colours or your sample colours.

DISPLAY IDEAS
Set the table!

*You’ll need a lovely table and you’ll need to decorate it! The focus could be the Napkins, the focus could be the blocks that have been used.

*The table itself could be simply draped with a quilt or appropriate fabric.

*The crockery and cutlery could be over the top to add to the mood or quietly unassuming to leave the napkins to shine.

*Use your photocopier or scanner to copy crockery and cutlery. Mount the copies onto cardboard for a funky display. Scaling the copy up or down could be interesting.

*Fill the window with a display of hanging napkins and cutlery. If the cutlery is of the thrift shop or cardboard cut-out variety so much the better.

*Picnics are an informal setting. The quilt as a picnic rug, the napkins perfectly co-ordinating.

*A row of glasses with napkins tucked in would be wonderful. Quilters love repetition.
