Spikey Starz

Spikey Starz Display and Merchandising

DISPLAY AREA
* Have a specific area to display for full impact. It may be the shop window, it may be at store entry as a welcome display, a well lit back corner to pull customers all the way to the back of the store or it could be near the counter to encourage spenders to be more inspired. Make sure it is well lit!

*offer colour co-ordinated starter packs of fabrics for each pattern instead of or as well as specific kits. Offer them either in the pattern colours or your sample colours.

DISPLAY IDEAS
*Starz on Stickz, a free download from the Stargazey Quilts web page. Make these to stand upright on sticks, join them together to form chains or hang them from a hula hoop, (covered in fabric), as a mobile.

*Fit out the display area, (or a backboard) with glow in the dark stars.

*Use wooden cut outs of stars and moons, have them displayed unadorned and decorated (with fabric and embellishments)

*Fashion “nice-looking” wire into simple star shapes. Thread it with beads before closing.

*Display Slender Starz and Sawtooth Starz along with Spikey Starz

*Following the cot quilt project theme;
-incorporate baby products (bright and colour co-ordinated)
-toys
-toiletries

*Make a family of cushions using various star fabrics - they could all have a spikey starz block in!
