Debs Shoez Bag Instructions
Deb has made two versions here, Shoez with Bowz and Ballet Shoez.
Your shoez can be different again.
BAG SIZE: 15 1/2 x 20 1/2 (40cm x 51cm)
SHOEZ BLOCKS
Shoez with Bowz
Make up a 10 block with pointy toez.
 To
make a bow:

Press the short edges under 1/4.
With right sides facing, fold the short edges to meet in the middle.
Stitch the side seams.
Turn right sides face out.
Slip stitch the hole closed.
Wrap the floss around the middle to gather, then stitch to the shoez.
Ballet Shoez
Cut out and make up two 10 Shoez units, with square toez, up to
step 5. Cut four foot straps each 1 x 6.
Slice across each unit and insert the first strap.
Stitch each unit back together.
Slice in the opposite direction for the second strap.
Stitch each unit back together.
Cut four ankle straps each 1 1/4 x 13.
Fold each in half face together. Stitch along the sides and top. Turn
right sides out. Press.
Pin the ankle straps in position before stitching on the background centre
and sides to complete the block.
QUILTING
Sandwich with pellon, or a thin batting. No backing is required as
the bag is lined.
Machine quilt around the shoez and the inner solez in the ditch. Free
machine quilt a pleasing pattern, such as curls or stars, over the background.

Cut two sides, each 3 3/4 x 21. Stitch on.
The bag outer fabric is also required for the back;

and a 1/4 bottom seam.
2. The bag lining fabric is required for the front and the
back;
Cut two pieces 17 x 21.

3. Turn the
outer section face out.
Slide into the lining section.
With right sides together stitch the 1/4 top seam on both sections.
