Deb's Ladybirdz Instructions

Make five 6" Daisiez. Trim them to 4 1/2" square. We chose to make larger blocks which were drastically trimmed for a fuller look flower, be aware that when trimmed their seams can be difficult.

Set all blocks together in a five by five setting.

FIRST BORDER
Cut two sides, 2" x 20 1/2". Stitch on.
Cut a top and bottom, 2" x 23 1/2". Stitch on.

SECOND BORDER
Cut two sides, 2" x 23 1/2". Stitch on.
Cut a top and bottom 2" x 26 1/2". Stitch on.

FINISHING/QUILTING
Machine quilt in the ditch around the daisiez and ladybirdz and also quilt in the ditch of the ladybirdz backbonez and across their heads.
Free machine quilt daisies and swirls to fill the background.
Fill each border with a long curved line ending on each corner with a curl.
The binding is made by joining lengths of various greens.
