Ladybirdz Teaching Notes
*these don’t have to be ladybirdz, they work beautifully as beetles
too and all color restrictions disappear
*demo the straight version first then let them all make a sample.
The on-point version can be quickly demonstrated later
*some student have problems with trimming the ladybirdz to their initial
shape - it is usually their brain wiring that is different, (spacial
concepts), they probably aren't good at jigsaws either! When I demonstrate
this section I take it slowly and talk them through it, telling them
basically to cut off the top and bottom corners but leaving a flat
side area.

night Ladybirdz, second night QAYGC, third night stitching the blocks
back together.
