Guyz & Girlz
All In A Row Quilt Instructions
QUILT SIZE: 40” x 20 1/2” (102cm x 52cm)
BLOCKS
Make two Guyz and three Galz. Mine included variations;
the Gal on the left has short sleevez,
the next Guy is normal,
the middle Gal has a mid length dress with a high waist,
the second Guy has long sleevez,
the last Gal is normal.
Trim each block, top and bottom, at an attractive angle - the length
is irrelevant.
Line up the blocks and trim, using the overlap cut method, to make
the arms meet sweetly.
INNER BORDER
Cut 1” strips of inner border fabric.
Stitch on to the top and bottom of each block.
Stitch on to the left and right edges of the first and last Gal.
OUTER BORDER
Cut 4” strips of outer border fabrics.
Stitch on to the top and bottom of each block.
Stitch on to the left and right edges of the first and last Gal.
Stitch the blocks together, matching the hands only - the inner
borders don’t need to match.
Trim the top to 40 3/4” x 20 1/2” or as desired.
FINISHING/QUILTING
Sandwich.
Machine quilt around the inner border, the guyz and galz in the
ditch. Free machine quilt curls in the backgrounds and daisies on
the border.
Bind and label.
