Daisy Kit
Specimen Daisy is a small project featured on the cover of Reverse
appliqué with No Brakez.
We put together kits as a convenient intro to this book and these
fun techniques.
Our kits come in four colourways. Please choose a top and a secret
layer colour to suit your clients or stock. The kit requirements
below, are designed to be printed out and included in the kits.
All instructions for this project are found on pages 53 -55 of
Reverse Appliqué With No Brakez so a copy of the book is
highly recommended!
Specimen Daisy Kit Requirements
We suggest you carefully hand wash the fabric before use.
Fabrics and Threads Included:
Secret Layer - eleven prints each 3” x bolt width
Top Layer - 12” x 18”
Floating Border - thirteen prints each 12” x 3”,
top layer colour
Backing - blue print 18” x 23”, top layer colour
Batting - 18” x 23”
Binding - blue/black stripe 7” x bolt width, top layer
colour
Needle - for appliqué, (Bohin size 7 crewel or similar) |

- DMC embroidery thread for appliqué, to contrast
- thread for piecing and quilting, top layer colour |
