Stars make everybody happy, they light up and reflect our dreams
in the bright night skies, they twinkle in our favorite nursery rhymes,
they spotlight the glamour of celebrity and reflect our patriotism
in bad times and good.
Our world would be dreary without them, just as our quilts would be
lesser without their gloriously overt or gentle and subtle inclusion.
So I present you with Starz, my very first fabric design who shone
so happily in Bright Bitz, altered slightly here to broaden its
use. These Starz retain their elegant yet whimsical tone but the choice
of background colors has been greatly expanded to give you access
to a new rainbow.
Reworked as a blender fabric, rather than one of those show stopping
celebrity types, I hope you wont be shy in using them. They
are a tone-on-tone print but have been given enough life (and twinkle)
to stand up happily on their own. They should tie in with all your
favorite fabrics, linking colors and prints when you need a link,
yet they remain strong enough to stand up for themselves and shine
in any crowd.
Starlight, starbright, first star I see tonight....
....theres lots of wishes made true here!
