Shoez
StufferzThese are easy fun to make, smell great and will make beautiful gifts.
Size: 4" x 6 1/2"
Requirements (per pair):
fabric: background/backing - 8” x 30”
shoez - 8” square
inner sole - 4”square
cotton batting - four pieces each 6” x 9”
25g (1 oz) of dried lavender
2 buttons
quilting & stitching threads
Instructions:
1.
Make a pair of 6” shoez units. They will be kept separate so cut 2 side
backgrounds for each unit 2 1/2” x 8”. Stitch on.
2. Sandwich each Shoez unit with batting 6” x 9”.
Machine quilt in the ditch of the inner solez and shoez.
Free machine quilt the inner solez and the backgrounds.
3. Sandwich two more pieces of batting 6” x 9” with background fabric 5” x 8”. Machine quilt.

Trim all four pieces to 4 1/2” x 7”.
Place each back and front face together. Stitch together, using a quarter inch
seam, and a walking foot, leaving a 2” opening for turning.
Clip corners. Turn each face out.
5. Lightly fill with dried Lavender. Hand stitch opening closed.
6. Sew on buttons, buckles or bows to complete the Shoez Stufferz.
