| The Recipez series offers you a fresh way
to enjoy making small, useful and perhaps giveable projects. We’ve
set you up with a choice of styles, sizes and details so that Recipez
are more than just specific instructions - they are designed to
be personalised.
We've used Stargazey Quilts block patterns as our feature but these
would also be wonderful with traditional blocks, embroidery or nude!
Incorporating your favourite patchwork blocks in each project would
just have to be the icing on the cake....

Beaniez Recipez
Beaniez are more than merely cushions. They are bean filled
shapes to stack, cuddle, lay out, sit on, lean against and
perhaps most importantly, decorate with. They can be filled
full for a firm seat or kept mouldable with fewer beans.
Like the story of the Three Bears we have sized and named
our beaniez according to their place in the family. Meet our
Papa, Mama and Baby Beaniez.
We’ve then selected our decorating blocks to suit their
owners;
Papa loves the outdoor life so his beefy Beaniez incorporates
a flotilla of Sailboatz tacking their way around the side.
Mama enjoys more gentle outdoor pursuits so life in her garden
becomes her time for rejuvenation. Ladybirdz flit over and
around her more modest cushion - just as they do over her
hand in real life.
Baby is ready to colour his life with Pencilz. His pint-sized
cushion has the blocks up front and obvious just the way he
likes things. Big enough to sit on, mighty enough to pile
up and gentle enough to throw around. His request is in for
a few more to accommodate friends.

Cushion Recipez
What is the best thing about Cushion Recipez? Is it because
the they use small pieces of fabrics that will encourage an
altruistic visit to your stash? Is it that they are a great
way to try out new blocks? Could it merely be that they are
the perfect decorator item for spicing up a chair, couch, bed
or a room? Surely it’s all of the above!
We’ve used three standard cushion sizes to suit available
inserts. They also happen to be sizes that have visual impact
and offer good back support. If you end up on the couch hugging
a cushion like I often do, they certainly have the cuddle-effect
covered - hence our gooey choice of names.
All our cushions have quilted fronts.
All have fastener free backs. |

Napkin Recipez
Protecting your lap with fabric should not be a thing of
the past! Rather than using the common disposable paper napkins
we should spread the word that using cloth, in all its glorious
colour and feel, is a viable and responsible option. To this
end we have designed a series of napkins to inspire spirited
entertaining, table decorating or merely for spoiling and not
soiling yourself!
With our three sizes, we’ve tried to make economical use
of fabric;
Mansized is for when you want generous coverage or when your
meal is messy.
Ladylike is our regular size, offering good protection but for
smaller mishaps
Teensy is for snacking, perhaps for the cocktail hour, where
only a cursory clean up is necessary.
Along with three sizes we have three styles. We have matched
these styles specifically to our three sizes but in reality
they are interchangeable with a little work on your part. |

Shopping Bag Recipez
In these greener times we can all do our bit for the environment
by reducing landfill and overuse of plastics. We can also add
personal style to our shopping expeditions by stitching up a
set of shopping bags to suit all occasions.
With food shopping in mind we set about to design a series of
three bags to hold various types of produce.....
The Saturday morning walk to the local shops is enhanced with
“Bakery”. A small bag that will comfortably accommodate
your morning croissants and lunchtime baguette, it has the feature
block sewn into the pocket to carry your wallet.
“Farmers
Market” is made to be filled with fruit or greens. It’s
good size and handle strength make it very useful in other situations
too.
For the more mundane weekly expedition we have “Supermarket”.
This bag is a very practical beauty! Quilted, lined, and incorporating
a removable templastic base, a group of these will sit comfortably
in the shopping trolley and lift easily to the car. All three
styles have been designed for strength, durability, ease of
construction and boy are they fun to whip up! |
