Let’s go a bit hippy, a bit Hawaiian, a bit haphazard but always
full-on happy! That’s the essence, the vibe, of Happy Hippiez!
I’m still using my favorite color palette but I’ve contrasted
it here and there with a touch of black. Let it be known that the
limes, purples and magentas of the 60’s still rule!
Keep your quilt designs simple as these prints are singing out loud
enough already. Let Happy Hippiez make it easy. Let them do the design
work for you.
Your quilt can be bold and boyish or gay and girlish. Let it be strongly
geometric with the checks and stripes. Make it furiously floral without
them.
Will you be able to stop smiling as you cut and stitch some snugly
flannel treats for your family and friends, young and old? Perhaps
we could even forget the quilts and do the “jamie” thing
instead? Another way to snuggle up in bed with your Happy Hippiez!
